But is he pro-choice or pro-life?!?!?

That's the only question that matters around here, isn't it?

The second half of the interview airs on Sunday, same time. Fox also does early AM repeats.

Sounds like it is the only question to you. What are you obsessed with death?

Dr. Sowell, Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institute at Sanford University, syndicated columnist, with degrees from Harvard, Columbia and the University of Chicago, the author of over 26 books that have been translated into Chinese, Hebrew, Spainish, German, and Italian, is probably the most brilliant economist in America today.

In addition he is a teacher who has taught at several universities and is able to explain economics so that even liberals coujld understand, if they listened.

Sowell's latest book "Basic Economics" should be a msut read for anyone in government or for anyone who wants to understand how the free market works.

Years ago Sowell also wrote "Marxism:Philosophy and Economicsw" the definitive work on Communism.

Because now I'm being forced to pick between Religious socialists and secular socialists.

At one time I could vote Republican because I believed in political conservatism and in reducing the power and scope of government. I don't think I can do that now.

Do you have proof?

I'm well aware of Sowell's prowess as a conservative. Once in a while, Walter Williams will have him on when he subs for Rush. Williams NEVER interupts him either. I hope Fred Barnes offers the same courtesy.

From what I've gathered, Sowell doesn't suffers fools easily... which is why he's so seldom seen as a talking-head.

I'm no Creationist, but I'd glady swap the course in evolution for one on economics as taught by Sowell.

You CAN support or oppose individual candidates who most closely share your philosophy.

More will be Republican than Democrat. Probably even more would be Libertarian, but I would not go there because of some stances of theirs that I strongly disagree with, and because all they do is siphon votes away from the more conservative main party candidate. They don't win. It's your choice, of course.

As for abortion as an issue, it is about a Life or a Death before someone even gets to be born. This is so powerful, as all of us, including you, who are posting our views did indeed get that chance to be born. You can't snuff out that powerful of an issue when compared to some things people debate that are far less cosmic and moral.

Then have fun with the death cultists and 'Rats. Those who don't respect life aren't worth worrying about--except as enemies. (Example: Islamic homicide bombers)

Thanks for the heads up.

Sowell is not only one of America's most brillant thinkers, in my mind, he writes better, with more clarity that most any writer I know. If I were POTUS I'd ask him what would he like to do in the administration.
